Custom TokiDoki Shoes

Hello Everyone,

Today I am showcasing my first go at customizing a pair of sneakers that were inspire by TokiDoki. These shoes are custom painted and were a birthday present for a special little princess turning three years old. My idea was to create a design fitting for a little girl, and me being a fan of TokiDoki art I decided to combined both. The design is simple all the characters are TokiDoki creations (some with little variations to original), different color stars are behind the characters, and the background is a gold color that is also use as a toe border. To finish the look I added double glitter shoelaces with a double-lacing tie. For the box I wanted to create a jewel incrusted look so I used glitter to achieve a similar reflection to when jewels sparkle in the light. I also displayed all the cool Adidas logos and create a front label giving proper credit to parties (including myself). As for the shoes used they are Adidas Superstars II (purchase plain white) size 9 infant. All said and done the project from start to finish took me a week, next shoe design I have in lineup is a hockey theme for myself.

Nice box Raul. Not sure if I would attempt that but my daughters would definitely like a box like that. Girls and sparkles seem to go together.
